"Ceptor-X" is a high-load timing belt (toothed belt) that enables compact design and improved transmission performance due to its high transmission capacity. Bandoh Chemical has traditionally received positive feedback for its Super Torque Synchro Belt (STS) and the higher performance HP-STS belt, which has an even greater transmission capacity. However, Ceptor-X boasts high transmission capabilities that allow it to achieve equivalent transmission performance with half the width of HP-STS. The back rubber and tooth rubber are made from high-hardness, high-elasticity synthetic rubber that minimizes tooth deformation, while the core wire features a high-strength, high-elasticity design that excels in maintaining tension. Additionally, the tooth fabric is chosen for its excellent resistance to tooth chipping and wear. Furthermore, the reduction in belt width is expected to contribute to noise reduction.
